(Das Grabmal wurde später von König Heinrich VIII. zerstört.) Die Themen der Erzählungen variieren, handeln von der höfischen Liebe, von Verrat und Habsucht. Die Genres variieren ebenso, es gibt Romanzen, bretonische Lai (kurze rhythmische Erzählungen), Predigten und Fabeln.
